Srimannarayana has platinum disc function
The music of Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming action drama Srimannarayana, which was released on August 6, has received superb response in the market. The audio CDs of the film were sold out like hot cake hours after they hit the stalls. The producer of the movie Ramesh Puppala, who is amazed by its response, has decided to hold a platinum disc function and thank music lovers for the success.

Srimannarayana has five beautiful songs for which Praveen Lakma, Kandikonda, Balaji and Chandra Bose have penned the lyrics. Popular musician Chakri has composed music for the tracks sung by Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Daler Mehndi, Kousalya, Geetha Madhuri, Aadarshini and few others have given voice for them. Music lovers have fallen in love with the songs, which gave it a big success.

Chakri's music for Balakrishna's previous movie Simha had got overwhelming response from music lovers. His latest movie album has received same response in the market, which has Balayya and Ramesh Puppala, who has planned to hold a platinum disc function for the movie on August 26.

However, Srimannarayana is a romantic action thriller and Balakrishna can be seen as a powerful TV journalist in this movie, which features actress Isha Chawla and Parvati Melton in the female lead roles. Directed by Ravikumar Chavali, the movie is scheduled to release on August 31.
