Actor
Pawan
Kalyan's
latest
movie
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
has
concluded
the
first
week
with
a
wonderful
collection
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
This
much-hyped
movie,
which
has
been
directed
by
Puri
Jagannath,
was
expected
to
break
Power
star's
previous
collection
record
set
by
Gabbar
Singh,
but
it
has
failed
to
surpass
the
benchmark
with
a
big
margin.
According
to
official
sources,
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
collected
a
share
of
Rs
21.74
crore
nett
at
the
Andhra
Pradesh
Box
Office.
The
political
entertainer
has
raked
in
Rs
3.19
crore
from
Karnataka
and
Rs
1.3
crore
from
rest
of
India.
The
makers
of
the
film
have
a
share
of
Rs
26.23
crore
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
week
of
its
release.
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
was
released
on
Wednesday,
October
17
in
America,
where
it
has
done
a
good
business.
The
Pawan
Kalyan
and
Tamanna
starrer
movie
has
raked
in
Rs
4
crore
nett
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
Its
collection
is
much
lower
than
that
of
Gabbar
Singh,
which
had
raked
in
Rs
4.13
crores
in
the
country
in
the
first
weekend.
However,
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
has
raked
in
Rs
30.23
crore
nett
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
During
its
promotions,
director
Puri
Jagannath
had
said
that
his
movie
would
beat
the
record
of
Harish
Shankar
directed
movie
Gabbar
Singh,
which
had
collected
Rs
36.5
crore
in
its
opening
week.
But
the
film
has
utterly
fallen
back
to
live
up
to
his
words.
One
reason
for
it
is
that
its
screening
was
stalled
in
many
place
in
the
first
weekend
due
to
its
controversial
content.
