It
is
celebration
time
for
the
fans
of
Telugu
Megastar
Chiranjeevi,
who
is
turning
57
today.
Several
members
of
his
fan
clubs
are
holding
social
activities
like
food
distribution,
blood
and
eye
donation
on
his
57th
birthday.
But
people
from
Tollywood
say
that
birthdays
of
the
actor
have
lost
their
charm
after
he
joined
the
politics.
Chiranjeevi,
who
is
fondly
called
Chiru,
was
born
to
Konidela
Venkat
Rao
and
Anjana
Devi
in
Mogultoor
on
August
22
in
1955.
He
debuted
in
films
with
Punadhirallu
in
1978
and
so
far
he
has
acted
in
149
movies.
He
was
last
seen
in
a
cameo
role
in
his
son
Ram
Charan
Teja's
Blockbuster
flick
Magadheera,
but
his
last
full-pledged
movie
was
Shankar
Dada
MBBS
in
2004.
It
was
rumoured
in
2011
that
Chiranjeevi
wanted
to
return
to
acting
and
Adhinayakudu
was
to
be
his
150th
movie.
But
later
the
actor
reportedly
gave
away
this
title
to
his
rival
Balakrishna.
At
present,
there
is
no
news
about
his
next
movie.
His
fans
are
desperately
waiting
for
him
to
comeback
to
big
screen
with
his
150th
film.
Chiranjeevi
has
been
honoured
with
several
Nandi
and
Filmfare
awards
for
his
wonderful
acting.
More
than
that
he
has
gained
millions
of
fans
not
only
in
Andhra
Pradesh,
but
also
in
other
states
of
South
and
North
India.
At
one
point
of
time
his
popularity
was
soared
up
to
sky
high
and
he
was
listed
among
the
top
50
influential
men
in
India.
However,
it
was
recently
reported
that
Chiranjeevi's
brother
Pawan
Kalyan
and
other
family
members
wanted
to
an
extra
zing
to
his
57th
birthday.
They
have
reportedly
planned
to
have
grand
birthday
party
at
the
Annapurna
Studios.
As
a
part
of
celebrations,
Pawan
Kalyan
would
release
the
first
teaser
of
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu
and
this
would
be
a
birthday
gift
to
the
Megastar
of
Tollywood.
We,
at
Oneindia,
wish
good
health
and
all
the
success
to
Megastar
Chiranjeevi.
