Eega dubbed version Makkhi won't release in 3D: Suresh Babu

It is already known that Director SS Rajamouli's blockbuster Telugu movie Eega is dubbed in Hindi as Makkhi and released on October 12. But there were confusions about its release format 2D or 3D. Now, the makers have made it clear that Sudeep-Samantha starrer graphical action will release in only 2D format.

Soon after the release of Eega, the makers of the movie had announced that they would dub it in Hindi and release it in 3D format, which had created a lot of curiosity among the film goers in the North India. They considered converting the 2D film into 3D for a pan-Indian audience. But they dropped the idea considering time and costs involved in it.

Talking to a leading English daily, Eega co-producer Suresh Babu revealed the news about the dropping of the idea of its 3D conversion. He said, "3D conversion requires a lot of time, money and efforts, so we are releasing the Hindi version in the same format and dubbing is nearly complete."

However, Eega is a live action graphical film about the revenge of a house fly. The film has been hailed for its spectacular visual effects. Nani has played the protagonist, while Samantha appeared as his love interest. Kannada actor Sudeep has played a villain and his performance is the major attraction of the movie. Now, Makkhi, its dubbed version in Hindi will be released by Reliance Entertainment.
