Eega effect: Allu Arjun's Julayi release postponed

The release of Allu Arjun and Ileana D'Cruz's film Julayi, which is one of most-awaited movies, has reportedly been postponed and the makers of the film are yet to announce fresh release date. Sources claim that SS Rajamouli's Eega, which has got the thunderous opening at the Box Office, was the reason behind the delay of its release.

The film Julayi was earlier touted to release on July 13, but the producers of the movie were said to be scared of Eega fever, which is likely to continue in the second week of its release. They planned to release Julayi on July 20, but Ravi Teja's Devudv Cheina Manushulu, which is hitting the marquee in the last week of July, posed threat to its business.

Julayi is one of the big budget movies of the year 2012. Sources claim that its producers are planning for a bigger release in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. And they want their movie to do good business at least for two to three weeks in these areas. Since the big ticket films are releasing back to back, they are afraid that the movie would suffer a set back at the Box Office.

However, Julayi, which has been written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is a story of a young fun-loving carefree guy who has no aim in life. Hero Julayi (Allu Arjun) wins the heart of a girl (Ileana D'Cruz) and the rest of the story is about how his life changes. The makers say that this romantic comedy has a right mix of action and entertainment.
