Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum taking toll on Talaash collection

Hyderabad: Rana Daggubati's much-hyped Telugu movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (KVJ) has opened to a very good response at the Box Office. The Krish directed movie, which has released on record number of screens in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, is giving tough time to Aamir Khan's highly talked about film Talaash in South India.

On November 30, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum released on 1000 screens in South India including a few screens overseas. Rana Daggubati, who is very popular in this area, had done huge amount of promotion. The videos and posters of the film had created lot of curiosity among the film goers. It is successful in reaching their expectations. Many say that it is much more than their expectations and they want to watch it again.

Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum had registered a huge amount of advance ticket booking prior its release. The movie received positive reviews from film critics and viewers, who gave thumbs up to watch it. The good word of mouth has boosted its business with its two day collection reaching Rs 10+ crores at the Box Office.

Whereas the much-hyped Hindi movie Talaash had also created lot of curiosity among the movie buffs and it is able to reach their expectations. The film has got positive reviews from film critics and viewers and this positive word of mouth has taken its business up. But trade experts say that its business in South India is not so good as it is in North. The movie has collected Rs 30.89 crores in the country and South Indian share seems to be low when compared to North.
