It
was
reported
last
week
that
Akkineni
Nagarjuna's
much-awaited
movie
Damarukam
had
completed
the
formalities
of
the
Censor
Board,
which
gave
it
'U/A'
Certificate,
and
it
would
release
on
October
20.
But
if
we
are
to
go
by
the
latest
rumours
in
T-Town
the
makers
themselves
are
not
sure
about
its
release.
Sources
claim
that
it
may
not
release
on
the
announced
date.
Damarukam,
which
has
been
directed
by
Srinivasa
Reddy,
is
the
big
budget
movie
in
the
acting
career
of
Nagarjuna
and
it
has
been
in
production
for
more
than
two
years.
The
reasons
behind
the
delay
in
the
release
of
the
movie
are
said
to
be
financial
problem
and
extensive
graphics
work.
Sources
claim
that
these
two
factors
have
continued
to
work
against
its
release
till
today.
Sources
close
to
the
production
team
of
Damarukam
say
that
some
portions
of
graphics
are
still
pending
and
it
will
reportedly
take
a
couple
of
days.
The
makers
are
said
to
be
facing
huge
financial
deficit
for
its
release
and
they
are
now
hoping
that
they
would
overcome
these
problem
and
release
it
on
the
announced
date
as
they
desperately
want
to
cash
in
on
Dussehra
holidays.
However,
even
if
the
film
Damarukam
releases
on
October
20,
it
has
big
threat
from
Pawan
Kalyan's
much-hyped
movie
Cameraman
Ganga
Tho
Rambabu,
which
will
hit
the
screens
on
October
18.
Will
they
clash
at
the
Box
Office?
Or,
will
their
makers
avoid
it?
