Hero Nani gets engaged to his girlfriend Anjana

Actor Nani has several reasons to smile. The first reason is the success of his recent release Eega, which has flooded him with several offers. And the second reason is even bigger than the first one. The budding actor has got engaged to his girlfriend Anjana in a private ceremony in Vizag yesterday (August 12). Reports suggest that they would enter the wedlock by the end of this year.

Anjana is a Vizag-based software engineer and Nani had met her a few years ago when Nani was a RJ in the city. Since then he had been in touch with her and their friendship soon grew into love. Recently, the actor had blasted the media for spreading rumours about his impending nuptials.

After his engagement with Anjana, Nani took to his Twitter page to share the news. The actor tweeted today, "I am engaged . Dot. :)." Later, he added, "Some people are still confused .. I denied rumours that I am getting engaged to a Facebook friend .. I still deny. Forget facebook .. Orkut dint exist when we first met :) (sic)."

The budding Telugu actor also introduced his girlfriend to his fans on Twitter. Besides posting their engagement picture, Nani tweeted, "Thank you all for all the love nd wishes .. Here's anju nd me .. Engagement pic for u :)"

However, Nani, who entered films with Ashta Chamma in 2008, has already moved on from the success of Eega. He is currently busy shooting with Samantha for Gautham Menon's trilingual Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu. He is expected to take up the shooting of his another movie Janda Pai Kapiraju soon.
