Allari
Naresh's
latest
Telugu
movie
Sudigadu,
which
received
positive
reviews
from
film
critics,
has
not
only
got
very
good
opening
at
the
Indian
Box
Office,
but
also
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
The
audience
response
for
the
movie
on
the
first
day
was
better
than
that
of
recent
releases
like
Devudu
Chesina
Manushulu,
Onamalu,
Uu
Kodathara
Ulikki
Padathara
and
Adhinayakudu
in
America.
Sudigadu,
which
is
an
adaptation
of
hit
Tamil
film
Tamizh
Padam,
has
registered
a
decent
response
and
fetched
smart
figures
from
the
limited
number
of
screens
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
According
to
trade
analyst
Taran
Adarsh,
the
Telugu
film
has
raked
in
Rs
24.55
lakhs
($
44,255)
from
its
screening
in
the
country
on
Thursday
and
Friday.
This
is
one
of
the
best
openings
for
a
Telugu
movie
in
recent
times.
Except
Julayi,
Eega
and
Gabbar
Singh,
no
other
Telugu
movie
has
received
such
a
good
response
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
recent
months.
Ravi
Teja's
Devudu
Chesina
Manushulu
had
collected
Rs
3.48
lakhs
($
6,288)
from
29
screens
on
the
first
day.
Onamalu
had
grossed
Rs
1.80
lakhs
($
3,243)
in
the
first
weekend.
Adhinayakudu
had
raked
in
Rs
5.45
lakhs
($9,844)
on
its
opening
day
in
the
country.
Sudigadu
has
beaten
the
collection
record
of
all
these
movies
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
However,
Sudigadu
registered
an
average
of
70%
to
90%
occupancy
in
the
theatres
across
India.
As
per
T-Town
trade
experts'
records,
Allari
Naresh
and
Monal
Gajjar
starrer
comedy
flick
has
collected
approximately
Rs
5
crores
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
and
its
performance
is
far
better
than
that
of
several
Telugu
films
of
2012.
