Power star Pawan Kalyan has signed to star in a movie based on the life of Jesus Christ. The Tollywood actor would debut in Bollywood with this film, which will be made in three languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It will be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and produced by Konda Krishnam Raju under Aditya Productions.
Along with the makers, Pawan Kalyan had held a video press conference from Jerusalem, couple of years ago. But the movie was put on hold ever since then. The film is all about the story of Jesus Christ from his birth, death and resurrection. The makers of the film are very well aware of a few films that have been made on Jesus Christ earlier. They say that their movie will be made differently and with kids as members of the cast.
However, Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu (CGTR), which is being directed by Puri Jagannath. He would take up the shooting of his next film after completing CGTR. If we are to go by the reports, this most-expected project will go on floors in October, 2012. Before this, the makers are to finalise female lead and other cast and crew.
