Dr D Ramanaidu is one of the most popular filmmaker of Indian
cinema. The producer has not only made films in South Indian
languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, but also in
Hindi and few other Indian languages. He has also produced three
movies of Rajesh Khanna, who died yesterday in
Mumbai following old age related deceases.
The filmmaker was shocked to hear the news about the sudden
death of Rajesh Khanna. D Rama Naidu, who was upset with the
news, has sent condolence message on behalf of his Suresh
Productions Pvt Ltd. He writes, "The first superstar of Bollywood
Rajesh Khanna acted as a Hero in Our Suresh Production banner in
three Hindi movies giving us Super hits, Prem Nagar -1974,
Bandish -1980 and Maqsad - 1984."
Rama Naidu added, "I express my deep condolence for his sudden
demise and will miss him greatly as he left us with so many
wonderful memories. I will cherish them forever. My heartfelt
condolences to his family. I pray to the Almighty Lord to give them
courage, strength and support."
However, Rama Naidu-Rajesh Khanna combo movies like Prem
Nagar and Maqsad were superhit at the Box Office in
their respective years. 'Ye Laal Rang' from Prem Nagar has
become ever green song. 'O Devi O Baby Tu Banja meri Biwi' from
Maqsad was a trendy song, and youth around the country
used to hum this song to tease girls during those days.
