The latest Telugu movie Rebel, which has been written and directed by Raghava Lawrence, is all set to release worldwide on September 28. The hype surrounding the movie has soared up to sky high. The trailers, posters and music of the film starring Prabhas, Tamanna Bhatia and Deeksha Seth in leads, have created a lot of craving among the film goers, who cannot wait to watch.
Rebel is a revenge drama, which revolves around the story of a happy-go-lucky guy. The hero (Prabhas) is the son of a good-natured mafia don (Krishnam Raju). The hero becomes Rebel after his father is killed. How he takes revenge upon the people, who killed his father, will form the second half of the movie.
Prabhas' action is the main attraction of Rebel. One action scene has been shot on Rs 2-crore-worth special set built at Shamshabad Temple near Hyderabad and 100 fighters had taken part in it. Thirty Russian fighters had taken part in another action scene shot at a set erected in Ramoji Film City.
Rebel has two female leads and Tamanna Bhatia, who is one of the most sought after actresses in South India, is playing one of them. She appears as the love interest of Prabhas in the second half of the film.
Actress Deeksha Seth is playing another heroine in Rebel. She appears as an orphan girl and Prabhas is in love with her. The first half of Rebel deals with their romance.
Raghava Lawrence himself has scored music for the songs of Rebel, which have become chartbusters. His music remains to be another highlight of the film. Its dance sequence are also among the other attraction of the movie.
Besides direction, Raghava Lawrence has written the script and scored the music for the film Rebel. Although it has been promoted as an action movie, the director has managed to include other masala ingredients like comedy, romance, sentimental, dance and beautiful locations. A source from the production team says that Rebel has all commercial elements and it is going to be a perfect treat for film goers this weekend.
