Filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma
had
earlier
announced
that
he
would
make
a
movie
on
the
2008
Mumbai
attacks.
The
director
is
now
at
it.
He
is
busy
working
on
a
Hindi
film
titled
The
Attacks
of
26/11,
which
is
also
being
simultaneously
made
in
Telugu
as
26/11
India
Pai
Daadi.
He
has
released
the
first
look
trailer
of
both
versions
last
weekend.
The
2.04-minutes
trailer
of
the
crime-thriller
26/11
India
Pai
Daadi
gives
more
hint
about
its
story
and
screenplay
when
compared
to
the
video
of
its
Hindi
version
The
Attacks
of
26/11,
which
is
about
7-minutes
long.
This
Telugu
video
unveils
on
how
a
group
of
Pakistani
terrorists
captures
a
boat
of
Indian
fishermen
and
how
they
enter
the
Taj
Hotel
in
Mumbai
and
kill
the
innocent
guests
in
the
hotel.
The
video
shows
that
Ram
Gopal
Varma
has
done
extensive
research
on
the
2008
Mumbai
attacks
before
he
prepared
a
script
for
film
26/11
India
Pai
Daadi.
In
his
press
release,
Ram
Gopal
Varma
says,
"The
truth
of
why
I
went
to
the
Taj
at
the
time
was
nothing
but
my
curiosity
to
witness
a
scene
of
an
unprecedented
happening."

The
filmmaker
adds,
"Now
after
all
these
years
after
the
whole
truth
has
been
uncovered
by
the
investigators
and
by
the
virtue
of
an
expensive
knowledge
I
have
gathered
from
various
sources
about
the
actual
truths
behind
those
attacks
from
both
authorised
and
eye
witness
accounts,
I
developed
a
desire
to
film
the
actual
story
of
those
attacks."
