Sivaji booked for drunken driving

Actor Sivaji Balaji is the latest Tollywood star to brush with the law. The Taj Mahal star on Saturday (Jan 7) was caught driving under the influence (DUI) by the traffic police in Hyderabad.

Reports say that Sivaji Balaji was caught near Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on Filmnagar Road on his way home in Manikonda. Around 12.30 AM, the cops, at a check post, asked him to undergo a breathalyser test, where he was found with blood alcohol content of 69.2 mg which is against the permissible limit of 30mg.

The cops seized his swanky car and booked the case under the section 185. Before catching Sivaji, the traffic police also seized distributor Sunil Narayan's car for driving in inebriated condition. They have been asked to appear before the court today.
