Why SS Rajamouli ignored Chiranjeevi?

SS Rajamouli has received rave reviews for his direction in his latest movie Eega. Besides this, the director, who is basking in the success of the film, was flooded with congratulatory phone calls from leading South Indian stars. Rajamouli mentioned everyone's name and thanked them on his Twitter page, but he missed out the name of Megastar Chiranjeevi.

On his Twitter page, Rajamouli revealed that he has received congratulatory messages and calls from Superstars like Rajinikanth, Vikram, Surya, Karthi, Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Siddharth, Ravichandran, Ram Gopal Varma, VV Vinayak, Puri Jagannath, Lingusamy, Shankar and a few others.

But what surprised many was the missing of Chiranjeevi's name in the list. Some people thought Chiranjeevi might not have called Rajamouli or sent congratulatory message to him. Others felt that he might have forgotten to mention his name on Twitter. But in reality, the director had ignored his message. The reason for it is that Chiru had sent it from his new mobile phone number and Rajamouli took it to be a fake one.

On Wednesday, SS Rajamouli revealed the reason for ignoring Chiru's message. The director tweeted, "Chiranjeevi garu called. Boy am I thrilled!!! Actually he texted me 2 days back frm a new number and I ignored it thinking it was some fake name. I felt very bad but he just brushed it off. "eega is the pride of TFI" are his words.. Flying higher and higher...:)"
