Bal Thackeray’s death: Tollywood offers condolences to his family

Shiva Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, who died of respiratory problems and pancreatic disease at his residence in Mumbai on Saturday, was the most influential person in Maharashtra. His life and works not only inspired Marathi people, but also people in other parts of the country were fond of him. Several filmmakers and star in Tollywood were influenced by him. His sudden death has shocked many in Telugu film industry.

Soon after the news about Bal Thackeray's death broke, several Tollywood stars took to Twitter to offer their condolences to his family and followers. The first among them was Ram Gopal Varma, who has done his Hindi movie Sarkar. RGV tweeted, "can't evr forget the hug the real Sarkar gave me when he saw reel Sarkar...Bala saab was a true epitome of power in every sense of the word."
