movie
Vicky
Donor
for
Rs
30
lakh.
Its
Telugu
version
is
said
to
be
produced
by
Tammareddy
Bharadwaj.
Sources
from
the
industry
say
that
Varun
Sandesh
will
play
the
male
lead
in
this
yet-to-be
titled
flick.
Ayushmann
Khurrana's
debut
movie
Vicky
Donor
has
become
a
big
hit
at
the
Box
Office
and
many
Tollywood
producers
were
vying
for
its
remake
rights.
Finally,
it
was
Sridhar,
who
has
reportedly
clinched
the
deal
for
Rs
30
lakh.
The
director
and
producer
says
that
he
is
currently
busy
with
another
project
and
he
will
officially
announce
the
remake
after
completing
his
upcoming
movie.
Sridhar
says
that
Vicky
Donor
is
a
perfect
new-age
entertainer
with
a
topical
plot
which
is
narrated
in
a
hilarious
manner.
He
has
planned
to
adopt
the
film
for
Telugu
viewers
with
a
bit
of
tweaking.
Industry
sources
claim
that
the
director
has
recently
met
producer
Tammareddy
Bharadwaj,
who
is
interested
to
co-produce
the
remake.
Sources
further
claim
that
in
their
meeting,
Sridhar
and
Tammareddy
have
zeroed
in
on
actor
Varun
Sandesh
for
the
lead
role,
which
was
played
by
Ayushmann
Khurrana
in
Vicky
Donor.
Sources
add
that
story
of
the
remake
will
be
changed
as
per
the
taste
of
Telugu
audience.
The
Punjabi
and
Bengali
families
in
the
original
film
are
likely
to
be
changed
into
Telangana
and
Vizag
families,
respectively.
