Speaking
at
the
function,
Shankar,
whose
films
often
get
dubbed
in
Telugu,
narrated
how
and
why
he
decided
to
do
a
remake
for
the
first
time.
The
filmmaker
said
that
it
was
during
the
shooting
of
Robot,
when
the
filming
was
cancelled
due
to
some
reasons
in
Pune,
he,
by
chance,
saw
Bollywood
movie
3
Idiots
along
with
the
film
unit.
While
his
team
was
having
fun
watching
the
film,
the
director
was
not
able
to
enjoy,
as
he
was
worried
about
the
delay
in
his
movie.
Shankar
suddenly
realised
it
and
made
his
mind
to
watch
without
thinking
about
his
project.
This
is
when
he
came
to
know
that
how
wonderful
3
Idiots
was
and
he
instantly
decided
to
remake
it
so
that
the
South
Indian
audience
could
also
get
the
same
kind
of
entertainment.
On
his
turn,
Vijay
spoke
in
Telugu
and
said
that
he
love
Telugu
audience
and
movies.
Other
guests,
who
were
present
at
the
event,
echoed
the
similar
thoughts
and
hoped
that
Snehitudu
would
impress
the
Kollywood
audience.Click
