in
New
Delhi
has
become
the
much-debated
topic
in
recent
weeks.
The
latest
news
about
the
case
that
we
hear
is
that
director
Sridhar
Allani,
who
has
earlier
directed
films
like
Buddha
and
Utsaham,
has
planned
to
make
a
movie
on
this
issue
and
he
is
currently
in
talks
with
actress
Charmi
Kaur
for
the
female
lead
in
this
controversial
flick.
The
brave
girl,
who
fought
until
her
last
breath,
has
shaken
the
nation.
Talking
to
a
leading
English
daily,
Sridhar
Allani
has
confirmed
the
news
about
the
movie
saying
he
wants
to
show
his
solidarity
by
making
a
film.
The
director
says
that
his
team
is
going
to
meet
the
family
of
this
girl.
He
adds
that
he
will
recreate
the
massive
protest
scenes
which
were
seen
after
her
rape
took
place
in
the
city.
Meanwhile,
Sridhar
Allani
also
confirmed
that
his
team
is
in
talks
with
Charmi
Kaur.
The
director
thinks
that
the
actress
is
a
great
performer,
who
can
carry
a
film
on
her
shoulders.
Hence,
he
has
decided
to
rope
in
her
for
the
role
of
the
rape
victim
in
the
movie.
The
director
says,
"We
are
in
discussions,
nothing
is
fixed
yet."
However,
producer
Chadalavada
Srinivasa
Rao,
who
has
earlier
produced
remakes
of
Telugu
films
Erra
Sanyam
and
Matrudevo
Bhava,
is
impressed
with
the
concept
of
Sridhar
Allani's
upcoming
film
and
has
come
forward
to
invest
Rs
5
crores
on
the
film.
The

says
that
the
movie
will
be
a
tribute
to
the
unfortunate
girl.
