Gunasekhar Considering Foreign Girl For Rudramadevi?

Director Gunasekhar's upcoming movie Rudramadevi, which is touted to be a 3D historic film, has made it to the headlines for several times over its casting. The movie is back in news for the same reason. Actress Anushka Shetty is playing the title role in it and the director is on look out for a girl to play her younger version. Reports suggest that he is considering on a foreigner for the role of the 16-year-old.

According to reports, young Rudramadevi will appear in the movie for over half an hour. Gunasekhar was said to have approached a popular Telugu TV anchor for the role. He had even done screen test of the girl, but things did not fall in place. So the director is currently on a hunt for another young actress.

Reports suggest that Gunasekhar has found out Anushka Shetty's look-alike, who is from some foreign country. Since she has a language problems, he is yet to finalise her for the role. "She looks like Anushka but language is a big problem. And her expressions are not as good as he expected," Deccan Chronicle quotes a sources from the production team as saying.

Anushka Shetty is currently busy shooting with Rana Daggubati, who appears as her husband Chalukya Veerabhadra and prince of Nidavardhya Puram in Rudramadevi. If everything goes as per plans, the movie is expected to hit the screens in June 2014.
