NTR’s Baadshah TV rights sold for second best price after SVSC

Hyderabad: Junior NTR's highly-anticipated Telugu movie Baadshah has set several new records even before it hit the screens. The Srinu Vaitla-directed film has continued to score more number of records as it nears the release date. The latest news is that the satellite rights of this stylish entertainer have been sold for a whopping amount, which is said to be the second best price in Tollywood, say trade experts.

The promos of Baadshah have soared up the viewers' curiosity to sky high. There was a great demand for its satellite rights in the market and several leading channels were waiting in the queue to bag its rights. But it is Gemini TV, which has reportedly bought them for a record price. If we are to go by the reports, the channel has shelled out Rs 8 crores on the rights of the Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal starrer.

However, Superstar Mahesh Babu's last release Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) is in the top slot with its TV rights fetching Rs 8.5 crores earlier this year. Now, Baadshah has landed in the second place. The movie has proved that Junior NTR is no lesser than any other leading stars in Tollywood. It should be seen whether the film would catapult him into a Telugu Superstar with its record breaking collection at the Box Office.
