I will stand by grandfather's party TDP: Junior NTR

Junior NTR, who is basking in the success of his latest outing Baadshah, has clarified that he would support his grandfather Senior NTR's Telugu Desham Party (TDP). The young tiger says that he will not join YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). He urges media not to drag him in a controversy unnecessarily.

Recently, YSR Congress Party has featured Junior NTR's photos alongside Jagan Mohan Reddy and Kodali Nani in the banners. This incident fuelled the speculations that he would join YSRCP. This news had irked Nandamuri Balakrishna, who had urged the Baadshah star to clarify his stand.

Addressing the success meet of Baadshah in Hyderabad, Junior NTR slammed the reports. "I'm clarifying yet again that I will stand by grandfather's (Sr NTR) party till my last breath. I'm currently enjoying the success of Baadshah and please let me enjoy it. Don't unnecessarily drag me into all the controversies," Times of India quotes him as saying.

Junior NTR is on cloud nine. His latest movie Baadshah, which released on April 5, has received overwhelming response at the worldwide Box Office. This Srinu Vaitla-directed flick has turned out to be the biggest opener in his career. It has smashed the first weekend collection record of Gabbar Singh at the USA Box Office.
