The producers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa were impressed with
her posters in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. They wanted to
rope in her for the sixth edition of their hit dance reality TV
show. Hence, they approached Jwala Gutta with a lucrative offer of
Rs 1.5 crore. But the the Badminton player rejected their offer
without a second thought, which came as an unexpected shock for the
Jwala Gutta, who is staying in Hyderabad, had to fly to Mumbai for
the shoot every week for a period of three-and-half months and her
portions will be shot for 34 days. But she is currently training
for 6 days a week and 7 hours a day for upcoming big tourneys and
she has only one day holiday in a week and that is Sunday. So she
had no other choice except rejecting it.
For this Hyderabadi beauty, Badminton remains as her first love. Even if she retires, she wants to work for badminton. When asked about why she rejected the offer of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Jwala Gutta says, "Badminton comes first to me, everything else is just next to the sport."
