It is the Diwali and most of the film industries in India have released some big banner movies. But Tollywood, which is considered as the second biggest film industry in the country, did not release even single film during this season. It was Hrithik Roshan's Bollywood movie Krrish 3, which kept the bells ringing at the Andhra Pradesh Box Office over the weekend. The much-talked about Superhero film has done brilliant collection in the state.
Having Hindi and Telugu versions, Krrish 3 released in 100 screens in Nizam, 38 screens in Krishna, 25 screens in Guntur, 45 in Vizag and a few screens in other parts of the state. The movie, which had a total of 300+ screens in the state, opened to an overwhelming response on Friday. The Hrithik Roshan, Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra starrer collected approximately Rs 2.25 crores at the AP Box Office on the first day.
Despite getting mixed talk from audiences, the Hrithik Roshan starrer witnessed good growth on the following days. The sci-fi film collected Rs 2.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.75 crore on Sunday. Krrish 3 has collected approximately Rs 7.55 crores from both Hindi and Telugu versions at the AP Box Office in the first weekend.
