Madhura Sreedhar looking for a sperm donor

Director Madhura Sreedhar is looking for a sperm donor. Don't mistake me. He is in search of a suitable hero for his upcoming Telugu movie, which will be a remake of Ayushmann Khurrana's hit Hindi film Vicky Donor. Almost a year has passed after the director announced the project. Although everything is ready for the shoot, he is still struggling to rope in a suitable actor for the lead role in the film.

Vicky Donor is all about an infertility doctor finding a young guy to supply him with his sperm. The movie details how he becomes the biggest sperm donor for his clinic. Ayushmann Khurrana played the title role in this original version. Madhura Sreedhar has been hunting for an actor for this role, but the stars who he thinks are suitable for the character, are all busy with other projects.

Previously, Madhura Sreedhar considered actor Nani for the lead role in the Telugu remake of Vicky Donor. But the director had to move on to Rana Daggubati after he faced dates issue with the Eega star, who is busy with Band Baaja Baaraat and Janda Pai Kapiraju. However, Rana Daggubati also could not provide his dates due to his busy schedules for Rudhramadevi and Baahubali.

Now, the director is considering on roping in Prince, who has proved his mettle with Neeku Naaku and Bus Stop. He has reportedly asked Prince to shed a few kilos to fit into Ayushmann's role. Talking to an English daily, Madhura Sreedhar says that he wanted to sign in an established actor like Nani, but he can not wait for a year. So he has decided to go ahead with newcomers. "After all, the original worked out well with debutantes in B-Town," he points out.
