Mahesh Babu's previous outing Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC), a Telugu family-drama, which was released during Sankranthi this year, has become Blockbuster at the AP Box Office. Following this huge success, the producers of the Telugu Superstar's upcoming movie 1: Nenokkadine have planned to release the film during the same time next year.
On its official Twitter page the bosses of the production house
14 Reels Entertainment have recently confirmed the release date of
1: Nenokkadine. As per the post, the Mahesh Babu and
Sanon starrer would hit the screens across the globe on January
10, 2012, on the eve of Sankranthi festival.
The producer of 1: Nenokkadine have released the second
teaser of the movie on the 38th birthday of Mahesh Babu and the
30-second video has got 1,286,705 views on YouTube. An elated
producer Anil Sunkara tweeted, "SUPER STAR STRIKES AGAIN........ 1M
views in 3 days.What better could fans give to their lovable Super*
as a Birthday gift! Thankyou1nd all."
However, a host of biggies' movies are slated to hit the screens
during 2014 Sankranti. Junior NTR's Rabhasa, Balakrishna's
Ruler and SS Rajamouli's Baahubali are targeted
to cash in on this festive season. With 1: Nenokkadine
releasing at the same time, Mahesh Babu would lock horns with three
other big-budget films. It should be seen who will walk out of this

Mahesh Babu's role in 1: Nenokkadine has created lot of
curiosity among the film goers. It was rumoured earlier that Mahesh
Babu would play a college lecturer in the film, but these reports
were dismissed by both Mahesh Babu and Sukumar. The latest buzz is
that he is playing a spy agent in the film.
Tamanna Was Star With Mahesh Babu
The casting of the heroine for this project has created lot of
buzz in the media. Initially, Tamanna was under consideration for
the role, but she walked out of the project due to unknown reasons.
Later, the names of Akshara Gowda and Angela Johnson were linked

Later, the producers announced that Kajal Aggarwal was cast for
the role, but she also walked out of the movie. It was reported
that Kajal's departure was due to schedule issues as a result of
the film getting delayed for several months.
Kriti Sanon To Romance Mahesh Babu
On October 5, 2012, it was officially announced that Kriti Sanon
would replace Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead in the film. The
film 1: Nenokkadine would mark the debut of Kriti Sanon in
Tollywood. The producers are yet to reveal her first look.

Besides Mahesh and Kriti, 1: Nenokkadine boasts of
Kriti Shanon, Kelly Dorjee, Sayaji Shinde, Vikram Singh, Srinivasa

The film 1: Nenokkadine hit the floors on February 12,
2012, and it has been shot in Hyderabad, Goa, Hungary and Germany.
