Ram Charan Teja's Yevadu is one of the highly-talked about and most-awaited Telugu movies of 2013. The Vamsi Paidipally-directed film was to hit the screens on July 24, but the producers of the film have now postponed its release date by a week and it is going to hit the marquee on July 31. However, it is going to clash with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Atharintiki Daredhi (AD), which will grace theatres on August 7.
Yevadu is Dil Raju's next production after the release of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Pinning lot of hopes on this project, the producer has shelled out hefty sum on it. He hopes that like his last release, this movie will also strike gold at the Box Office. But he is shocked to learn about its clash with Atharintiki Daredhi.
Sources close to producer Dil Raju say that he is confident that his much-hyped movie Yevadu will recover its production cost in its opening week and it will clash with Atharintiki Daredhi. The producer is scared that he would lose out a large chunk of its benefit to the latter, if its release date is not postponed by at least a week. So he is said to be desperately trying to urge the makers of Pawan starrer flick.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Atharintiki Daredhi is also a big-budget movie, which has reportedly been made with Rs 35 crores. In a bid to cash in on the Independence Day and Ramzan holidays, its makers have locked in on August 7 as its release date two months in advance. If they do not heed Dil Raju's request, it is surely going to be a mega-clash at the Box Office.
