to
feature
in
the
Telugu
remake
of
recent
Punjabi
hit
film
Singh
vs
Kaur.
Veteran
producer
D
Ramanaidu,
who
had
produced
the
original,
wants
to
remake
the
film
in
Telugu
and
has
planned
to
rope
in
the
Bezawada
star
for
the
lead
role
in
its
Telugu
version.
A
source
from
D
Ramanaidu's
Suresh
Productions
has
revealed
the
plans
of
the
producer.
The
source
said,
"Ramanaidu
plans
to
remake
the
film
with
Chaitanya.
If
everything
goes
as
planned,
the
film
will
go
on
floors
from
December.
The
cast
and
crew
will
only
be
finalised
after
Chaitanya
gives
a
nod
to
the
project."
Ramanaidu
has
produced
films
in
several
Indian
languages
like
Telugu,
Tamil,
Kannada,
Malayalam
and
Hindi,
but
mostly
Telugu
over
the
years.
Suresh
Productions,
which
completes
50
years
in
operation
in
November,
plans
to
do
a
family
multi-starrer
soon.
The
source
added,
"He
(Ramanaidu)
has
plans
to
do
a
film
featuring
his
son
Venkatesh
and
grandsons
Rana,
Naga
Chaitanya
and
Abhiram.
This
project
has
been
on
his
mind
for
very
long,
but
is
likely
to
go
on
floors
soon."
Punjabi
romantic-comedy
Singh
vs
Kaur
is
a
low-budget
film.
It
revolves
around
a
story
of
a
young
man,
who
in
an
attempt
to
get
rid
of
an
unwanted
marriage
proposal,
ends
up
lying
to
his
entire
village
that
he
loves
somebody
named
Jasneet
Kaur
from
Vancouver.
What
happens
next
will
form
the
crux
of
the
movie.
It
was
one
of
the
sleeper
hits
of
the
year
with
its
collections
crossing
Rs
20
crore
at
the
Box
Office.
