Nayantara is one of the most sought after actresses in South Indian film industry. In recent years, she is the only actress, who has rejected many plum offers in both Telugu and Tamil film industries. She is also the only actress, who has always shied away from lucrative endorsement deals. The latest buzz is that she has been offered a whopping Rs 1 crore to be the brand ambassador for Srinikethan. Will she accept this deal?
According to reports, Nayantara has got a lucrative deal to promote the Kalanikethan group's soon-to-be-launched brand Srinikethan. When the bosses of the brand narrated the concept, the actress liked it. She has reportedly gone through the agreement and payment details. She has reportedly given her oral consent for it. "But she still hasn't signed on the dotted line," an English daily quotes a source as saying.
Unlike her fellow heroines, Nayantara has not been keen on endorsing projects right from the beginning of her career. In her decade old acting career, she has been offered several endorsement deals, but she has rejected most of them. The only ad she did in recent times is for textile giant Pothys' Diwali collection, which had hit the screens in 2010. Now, sources close to Kalaniketan claim that the bosses are confident that she will accept their whopping deal.
