The

collection
at
the
Box
Office
on
the
first
day
of
its
release.
It
has
become
the
second
biggest
opener
for
NTR
after
his
Blockbuster
Baadshah.

With
its
advance
ticket
booking
opened
on
Wednesday,
Ramayya
Vasthavayya
has
had
huge
amount
of
booking
for
all
the
shows
on
its
opening
day.
The
screening
of
the
Junior
NTR,
Samantha
and
Shruti
Hassan
starrer
began
a
few
hours
before
the
usual
timing.
The
movie
ran
to
packed
houses
in
all
the
shows
with
its
occupancy
ranging
between
90%
and
100%
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes.
Released in around 1,500 screens across the globe, Ramayya Vasthavayya has collected approximately Rs 13.07 crores at the worldwide Box Office on the first day. Its opening day shares are Rs 2.37 cr in Nizam, Rs 1.88 cr in Ceeded, Rs 46 lakhs in Nellore, Rs 1.28 cr in Guntur, Rs 56 lakhs in Krishna, Rs 73 lakhs in West, Rs 75 lakhs in East, Rs 64 lakhs in UA, Rs 1.35 cr in Karnataka, Rs 55 lakhs from rest of India and Rs 2.5 cr overseas.
While film critics gave Ramayya Vasthavayya mixed reviews, viewers have given it thumbs up. A good word of mouth is expected to take its business upwards over the weekend. Trade experts feel that the movie will do fantastic collection at the Box Office in the first weekend and beat the record of Junior NTR's previous release Baadshah.

#RamayyaVastavayya 1st half is over. All NTR needs is the right director. NTR reinvents his image as class/mass/youth/family star. Harish understands heroes so well that he makes the best presentation of their strengths. 1st half is very good with a nice interval block.

Ramayya Vastavayya: Typical revenge drama. First half is breezy but second half (esp.climax sequence) is total letdown. Liked NTR. In scenes involving him, Samantha and Rohini Hattangadi, he was hilarious.
