Hyderabad: Actor Sonu Sood has reportedly been out of Ram Charan Teja's much-hyped bilingual movie Zanjeer, which is simultaneously made in Telugu and Hindi. According to reports, he has been thrown out of this big budget project following his leg fracture in the Celebrity Cricket League 3 (CCL 3) match between Mumbai Heroes and Chennai Rhinos in Dubai on Saturday evening.
Zanjeer is a remake of 1973 Hindi film with the same name starring Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan in leads. Now, Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra are playing these lead role. Sonu Sood was roped in to play Sher Khan, which was originally played by actor Pran. But he has been advised a long rest due to his leg injury. Now, another popular Telugu actor Srihari is said to be essaying his role in the movie.
However, Sonu Sood was shifted to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital for further treatment immediately after he met with an accident in the CCL 3 match between Mumbai Heroes and Chennai Rhinos in Dubai on Saturday. The doctors hinted that the injury is serious one and he has to undergo a major surgery. He is said to have undergone surgery and responding well to the treatment.

Sonu Sood has several big ticket movies like Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya, Rana, Kuch Din Kuch Pal and Bhai, which are lined up for release in 2013. But their release has been jeopardised by his leg fracture.
The doctors in the Lilavathi hospital in Mumbai are of the opinion that Sonu Sood will recover from his injury very fast.
