In recent days, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been creating a lot of buzz over her charity work. Now, her boyfriend Siddharth has also joined hands with her. The Tollywood's hottest couple attended Black Tie Dinner - the Food for Change Charity Show held at N Convention Center in Hyderabad on October 6. Murali Mohan, Dil Raju and others graced the event.
Before leaving for this event - Black Tie Dinner, Samantha left a series of comments about it on her Twitter page. She tweeted, "Looking forward to the black tie dinner tonight hosted by team project 511.. Proceeds go towards the education of children in AP". She added, "Instead of focussing on the bad and the unwanted it's better to use that energy and focus on what good we can bring about..."
The proceeds of the event went to two Hyderabad-based NGOs. Samantha further wrote, "Respect to team project511.. Quite inspiring actually... Taking pointers from them for pratyusha...511 signifies that they have built 511." She added, "Govt schools... And looking to touch a 1000 soon.. Tonight is a gala charity dinner at N convention.. Ticket prices starting 4k onwards..."

Talking about this event, Srinivas Ventrapragada, chairman of a charitable trust says, "These social gatherings are much cooler, as they entertain people, and at the same time, lets them do their bit for society. "
A New Concept To Hyderabad
Gopi Garapati, who was part of a series of stand-up comedy acts, says, "Such a concept is very new to Hyderabad. The usual approach of NGOs approaching people and asking for donations lacks that connect." He adds, "But thanks to this concept, people get their money's worth because they have a good time."
Guests' Goodwill
Radhika, who works with an NGO, says that some events depend solely on the guests' goodwill to earn money. There is hardly any cover charge or entry fee.
Great Place To Be For Networking
IT professional Srikanth Narayana says, "Only a select group of people who belong to the same social circle attend these events. So, it's a great place to be for networking."
