Hyderabad: Director Praveen Sri, an associate of Ram Gopal Varma, hogged the limelight with Jagapathi Babu's Gaayam 2 in 2010. Now, he is set to make his comeback with his latest directorial venture Kaali Charan. Like his guru RGV, he is also bringing a real-life incident on the screen. The makers of this film have unleashed the first look of the the movie. The posters look raw and very interesting.
Kaali Charan, which is produced under the banner of Sri Karunalayam Productions, is a romantic action thriller and the story revolves around real incidents that happened in Palamoor in 1980's. Besides direction and producing, Praveen Sri has also written story and screenplay for the movie, which features Chaitanya, Chandini and Kavitha in the lead roles.
The film unit has recently completed the shooting of Kaali Charan, which is currently in the dubbing stage. The movie has been shot in Vikarabad, Mahabub nagar, Pochampalli and Hyderabad. Talking about its filming, Praveen Sri says, "We have shot the film in real locations. The action sequences of the film are very real." He adds, "The romance between hero and heroines will be very poetic."
However, Kaali Charan will have Nandhan Raj's music, Satish's camera work, Vanamali and Sadhachandra's lyrics, Khaaja, Sri Praveen and Siva Kumar's dialogues, Venkat Nag's fights, Ajay Sai's dance choreography. Bhojpuri actor Pankaj Kesari will be seen as villain in this film, which features Sanjeeva, Nagineedu and Vijayarani in key roles.
