Raja Rani Is Not Remade In Telugu: AR Murugadoss

AR Murugadoss' recent release Raja Rani has become big hit at the TN Box Office. It was being rumoured that this Tamil movie would be remade in Telugu. But the popular filmmaker has ammed the reports stating that he does not have any plans to remake this romantic family drama. Instead, he will soon release its Telugu dubbed version in the Andhra Pradesh.

In a statement to media, AR Murugadoss says that he is only planning to dub it. The director said, "The Telugu dubbed version will hit the screens soon. The news about the film being remade in Telugu is baseless. It's a film for youngsters as well as family audiences, and therefore, I'm hoping it will be received very well in Telugu as well."

Starring Arya, Nayantara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim in the leads, Raja Rani has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 25 crores. The film has reportedly minted over Rs 20 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in the first two weeks of its release. It was adjudged a super-hit at the box office.

Raja Rani has been written and directed by debutant Atlee and jointly produced by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.
