See Ram Charan-Priyanka's Toofan exclusive trailer

Hyderabad: The much-awaited trailer of the movie Toofan, the Telugu version of most talked about Hindi film Zanjeer. The trailer has been unleashed on the internet. The 2.37-minutes video offers enough hint about all the lead actors like Ram Charan Teja, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Shrihari and Tanikela Bharani. This teaser shows that director Apoorva Lakhia has included all the masala elements to woo Telugu viewers.

Toofan is a remake of 1973 Hindi film Zanjeer starring Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan in leads. Now, it is simultaneously made in Telugu and Hindi. It is revolves around the story of ACP Vijay Khanna, who is jailed for 6 months on false charges, trapped by gang leader Teja. How he plans to take revenge, when Vijay is released from jail will form the rest of the story. Ram Charan is playing the police officer, while Priyanka appears as his wife. Prakash Raj, Shrihari and Tanikela Bharani are in the negative roles.

The video of Toofan shows that Apoorva Lakhia has given a modern touch to the old film with all available high-technology. The film is an action entertainer, which has some of well choreographed fights and the trailer hints at the hero's encounters with baddies. Besides this, it also offers a look at Ram Charan and Priyanka's romance and intimate scenes. Cherry looks very challenging in it and he is surely going to rock audience in North India.

However, the trailer launch of Toofan was held at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad today (March 25, 2013). It was grand event, which was attended by Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Apoorva Lakhia, Srihari and many other celebrities. Chiru released the promo as a birthday gift for his son Ram Charan two days in advance.
