Ram Gopal Varma's daughter gets engaged to her boyfriend

Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's daughter Revathi Varma, who is doing MBBS, has recently got engaged to her boyfriend Pravan, who is also a doctor. Revathi's engagement, which was held at Radisson Hotel in Hyderabad on January 2, 2013, was a private ceremony and was attended by close friends like SS Rajamouli and few others.

Although Ram Gopal Varma remained tight lipped about his daughter's engagement, it was ace director SS Rajamouli, who revealed the news on his Twitter account. In a playful manner, the Eega helmer tweeted, "Had the pleasure/previlage of watching @RGVzoomin playing a dutiful father at revathi's reception. What a sight!!!! Ha ha ha ha."

However, Ram Gopal Varma's family is yet to announce the wedding date of Revathi. Sources claim that as Revathi is not a celebrity, the family does not want to create unnecessary hype about her marriage. Like Suresh Babu's daughter Malavika's wedding, they also want to have a silent and very strictly a private ceremony.
