Director
Harish
Shankar's
latest
venture
Ramayya
Vasthavayya
has
concluded
the
first
week
with
a
decent
collection
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
The
Junior
NTR,
Samantha
and
Shruti
Hassan
starrer
was
expected
to
do
much
better
business
than
what
it
has
done
now,
but
it
got
affected
by
negative
talk
and
to
certain
extent
Phalini
Cyclone
and
political
agitations.
The
masala
film
has
failed
to
beat
the
record
of
NTR's
last
outing
Baadshah.
Riding
on
the
huge
hype
prior
its
release,
Ramayya
Vasthavayya
debuted
with
a
fantastic
response
on
its
opening
day.
Despite
having
a
negative
talk,
the
movie
showed
growth
over
the
weekend,
but
it
was
not
up
to
the
expected
mark.
The
business
of
the
Junior
NTR,
Samantha
and
Shruti
Hassan
starrer
dropped
by
10%
on
Monday
and
it
continued
to
drop
on
the
following
days
too.
Trade
experts
feel
that
the
movie
has
failed
to
cash
in
on
the
Dusshera
festive
season
due
to
the
negative
word
of
mouth.
Released
in
around
1,500
screens,
Ramayya
Vasthavayya
has
collected
approximately
Rs
58.86
crores
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office
in
the
(7
days)
first
week.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
9.50
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
10
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
9.55
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
8.06
cr
on
Mon,
Rs
7.80
cr
on
Tue,
Rs
7.20
cr
on
Wed
and
Rs
6.75
cr
on
Thu.
As
per
the
reports,
Dil
Raju,
the
producer
of
the
movie,
will
have
a
share
of
Rs
24
crores
to
26
crores
in
its
total
collection
and
remaining
amount
will
be
shared
among
its
distributors
for
various
areas.
