Ram Gopal Varma ditches his best genres, Mafia, Faction and Horror!

Ram Gopal Varma, the controversial director who is popular for making faction, mafia and horros films made a statement saying he will not be making any more films in these genre.

RGV was in Hyderabad promoting his upcoming release Psycho. He has done the scripting and screenplay for this film which is said to be an interesting thriller. During the promotional meet, the Shiva and Satya director, said that he will not be making any more horror, faction and mafia based films in the future. He said, "I will not make films in the horror, mafia and faction films in future. I am currently developing two new ideas. I do not know which genre they fall into. I have never attempted anything like this before. The two stories will be very different. When I mean different, I do not mean family entertainers or devotional films."

RGV is known for making shocking films. Even from the beginning of his career he has made films mostly based on mafia and faction. The first and the biggest hit of his career Shiva (1989)is based on faction. His Bollywood hit Satya, Sarkaar falls in the same category.

His next most popular genre being horror, it was shocking to know that he will not be making anymore horros movies as well. He has made many horror movies beginning with Raat/Raatri up until Bhoot Returns.
