Only a prince can be the King. The same rule works with the Telugu film industry. Star kids can only be the stars of Telugu film industry. The number of such stars are pretty high right now than ever.

If you look at the current actors (Heros) of Telugu film industry, almost all of them are from film industry background. Almost all of them are either sons of actors, or producer's sons.

This is not a new trend that is being set lately. The star-kids-trend started with Balakrishna, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna in 80's. Following these stars were their kids, who entered the family profession. Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan Teja, Naga Chaitanya, Jr NTR, Prabhas, Nitin, Rana Daggubati, Manchu Manoj, Allari Naresh and the list continues.

It is not fair to say that these actors have made it just because they have pedigree. There are many such actors who have entered the industry and failed to make a mark. All the above actors have made it big because of their acting talent and screen presence.

But the fact still remains that a star kid has a much comfortable launch into the industry when compared to someone who has no relative to help them climb that initial, yet the most toughest, step in their acting careers.
