Sudhir
Varma
debut
directorial
venture
Swamy
Ra
Ra
starring
Nikhil
Siddhanth
and
Swati
in
leads,
has
got
a
decent
response
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
The
Telugu
movie
has
topped
the
weekend
collection
chart
in
America.
Its
business
is
much
better
than
that
of
Bollywood
movie
Rangrezz,
which
has
landed
in
the
second
place
with
a
poor
collection.
Swamy
Ra
Ra,
which
hit
a
limited
number
of
screens
in
USA,
opened
to
an
average
occupancy.
But
a
positive
word
of
mouth
took
its
business
upwards
over
the
weekend.
The
film
has
collected
Rs
23.51
lakhs
($43,262)
from
13
screens
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
its
first
weekend.
Whereas
its
rival
Rangrezz
has
raked
in
Rs
2.35
lakhs
($4,318)
from
11
screens
in
the
country.
Meanwhile,
another
Telugu
movie
Mirchi,
which
was
released
six
weeks
ago,
is
still
doing
good
collection
in
the
country
and
its
business
is
almost
equal
to
that
of
Rangrezz.
The
Prabhas,
Anushka
Shetty
and
Richa
starrer
has
collected
$1,224
from
3
screens
at
the
USA
Box
Office
in
its
seventh
weekend,
taking
its
total
to
Rs
3.48
crores
($6,39,854).
