Nandamuri Balakrishna's second daughter Tejaswini's wedding is the next biggest ceremony after Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja's marriage. This grand gala event also marks the end of rivalry between two leading Tollywood actors, who have never seen eye to eye and have always been engaged in bitter feud and verbal fight for decades. Finally, they have kissed and made up at this marriage event on Wednesday (August 21).

Yes! We are talking about the cold war between Megastar Chiranjeevi and actor Balakrishna, who have been the pioneers of Telugu cinema for decades. They have been fierce competitors professionally and their political ideologies have separated them. But there seems to be no love lost between the two stars.

According to reports, it was Balakrishna, who personally went to Chiranjeevi's residence and invited him and his family members to his daughter's marriage. The Megastar-turned-Union Minister for Tourism took some time from busy political schedule to attend Tejaswini's wedding, which was held at a seven star hotel in Hyderabad. Clad in white kurta pajama, Chiru arrived sans his wife and blessed the newly-wed couple.

We bring you the photos of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna at the wedding and details about their fight in the past. Continue to see them in the slideshow.

Chiranjeevi And Balakrishna's Rivalry

The rivalry between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna dates back to late 1980s when their movies Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu and Muddula Mavayya, respectively released at 'D' center Kirlampudi of East Godavari District with a gap of 30 days and ran for 100 days in the theatre.

2 Decades' Fight At Box Office

It still surprisesmany senior personalities in the Telugu film industry how two movies released with a gap of just one month could run 100 days directly in a 'D' center. For around 2 decades, both these stars have fought for fame and prestige at the Box Office.

Chiru And Balayya's Supremacy In Tollywood

At times, both have won the toss and maintained their supremacy in Tollywood for years. Some Fridays it was Balayya, who rocked at Box Office, while Chiru enjoyed success most of the time.

Fans Loyalty To Chiru And Balayya

Both have enjoyed enormous amount of loyalty from their fans, who still swear by them. Of late, Chiru has realised that not all of them danced to his political tunes. Now, it is the turn of Balakrishna, who has announced that he will contest in 2014.

When Their Feud Saw The Day Light

The fight between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna was just limited to rumours and speculations until the latter made an insulting remark against the former, who hit him back in decent way. This incident brought their decades old feud to the day light.

Balakrishna Decides To Plunge Into Politics

It all started with Balakrishna deciding to plunge into politics. At an event, the actor said, "I will not contest a Parliament seat, only an assembly seat. We will fight the Congress under Chandrababu Naidu's leadership to bring back to power the party established by my father."

Balayya Hit Out At Chiranjeevi

Balayya further said Chiranjeevi started Praja Rajyam Party only in his eagerness to become the CM and not to serve the people. In a scathing attack on the megastar, he added that Chiru merged PRP with Congress as he was unable to run the party properly.

Chiranjeevi Called Balayya Childish

Irked by his comments, Congress MLA Chiranjeevi said, "Balakrishna is my friend. But he is childish. I don't think it is worth my time to comment on such childish comments."

Balakrishna Poked Fun Again At Chiru

Balakrishna did not stop there. In his another press statement, he retaliated, "He called me childish? That is okay. He has learnt to talk now. That is why he is sitting and lobbying in Delhi for ministerial berths."

War Of Words Was An Engaging Public Screenplay

Balayya's disparaging remarks about Chiranjeevi broke out a war of words. The face-off between the actors has become an engaging public screenplay, but the political climax in the form of elections is still some time away.

Balakrishna To Quit Acting For Political Career

With Chiru being away from films, Balakrishna, who is still in the arena, has a good chance to impress audience at a stretch with films. But he has planned to bid goodbye to acting and enter politics.

Chiranjeevi, Balayya's Clash To Continue

Chiranjeevi may attempt his 150th flick as majority of the Mega fans are expecting him to comeback to big screen. With the actor becoming Union Minister, there is no hope of him returning to screen. Now, he will continue to clash with Balayya in Politics.
