Director Rohit Shetty's Bol Bachchan is a romantic action comedy film, which is one of the biggest hit Bollywood movies of 2013. It has become the first Rs 100 crore grosser movie for Abhishek Bachchan, who has bagged Best Actor from Stardust, Screen, Big Star Entertainment and Zee Cine awards. Now, this Hindi film is being remade in Telugu as Masala. Its Telugu version is creating buzz in T-Town ever since K Vijaya Bhaskar announced the project.
Bol Bachchan is all about a guy, who tells a lie to get
a job and how he is forced to tell many lies to save himself from
the one will form the interesting part of the movie. Director K
Vijaya Bhaskar is bringing the same story in Telugu with a few
minor changes to suit the taste of the local audience. Venkatesh and
Ram are playing the
male leads, while Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee appear as
their love interests in its Telugu version Masala.
Masala is now all set for a grand worldwide release on
14 November. The is expected to grace 600 screens in Andhra
Pradesh. Considering its hype and star-cast, Tollywood trade
experts predict that the film will take a good opening on the first

Lead Roles In Masala
Venkatesh is reprising Ajay Devgn's role in Masala,
while Ram essays the dual roles played by Abhishek in Bol
Bachchan. Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee are playing Venky and
Ram's love interests respetively.
Supporting Cast In Masala
Jaya Prakash Reddy, Ali, MS Narayana, Kovai Sarala and
Brahmanandam have been roped in to play other important roles in
the film Masala.
Masala – Venkatesh-Vijaya's 3rd Combo
Masala marks the third collaboration of Venkatesh with
Vijaya Bhaskar after Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and
Malliswari. Venkatesh is sporting a twirled moustache in
the same way which he was last seen in Gautham Menon's
This film will also mark the second film of Venkatesh and Anjali
after the Super Hit film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle

Title Of The Movie
The Telugu version of Bol Bachchan was tentatively
titled Garam Masala. Later, the makers considered other
names Gol Maal, Ram Balaram and Masala were
considered. Finally, the title was confirmed as Masala
after the first look poster was released in September 2013.
The major portions of Masala have been shot in
Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune. A song featuring Ram and Shahzan
Padamsee has been shot in the exotic locales of Thailand. Another
song starring Venkatesh and Anjali has been canned at Hokkaido, the
second largest island in Japan.
S Thaman's Music
Masala has five sound tracks and S Thaman has composed
the music for them. The songs have received positive response from
both critics and audience. Thaman's music is going to be one of the
main highlight in the film.
Masala is romantic comedy entertainer, which is jointly
produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under
their banners Sravanthi Movies and Suresh Productions.
Masala has been awarded a clean 'U' certificate by the
Central Board of Film Certification on November 7, 2013. With the
film slated to release on November 14, it is going to be good
