Vijay's Anna Set To Write New Record At AP Box Office
Tamil Nadu is not a good market place for Telugu movies, but Tamil films have obviously got great demand in Andhra Pradesh. Success of Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth, Surya, Vikram and Karthi's recent movies in AP Box Office is the clear proof for it. Tamil actor Vijay, whose last release Thuppaki has done well in the state, is now all set to dazzle the screens with his latest movie Anna - Born to Lead, which will have grand release in the state.
Telugu movie Anna - Born to Lead, which is the dubbed version of Vijay's Thalaivaa, was to release in a limited number of screens in the state. But with the postponement of the release of Attarintiki Daredi, the dubbed film is expected to take over a large number of screens, which were reserved for the Pawan Kalyan starrer film.
According to reports, the producers of Attarintiki Daredi had booked more than 1,000 screens in the state. Now, the distributors of Anna are planning to increase the number of the screens for the film. Insiders from the industry claim that they are already in talks with several theatre owners and very soon, they will finalise the deal and come with new theatre list for the dubbed version of Thalaivaa.
Kamal Hassan's recent release Vishwaroopam, which released in record number of screens in the state, has done a fantastic collection at the AP Box Office and set a new collection record. Anna Is An Action Entertainer
Anna is an action thriller written and directed by AL Vijay, who has earlier impressed the Telugu audience with Nanna, which was the dubbed version of Deiva Thirumagal, which has done fantastic collection at the AP Box Office.

Anna is based on Mumbai underworld and most of the movie has been shot in Mumbai. The theme of film is said to be completely different when compared to Vijay's earlier movies.

Cinematographer Nirav Shah has cranked the camera for the movie Anna, which is said to be a visual treat. He has captured some of most beautiful places in Switzerland, New South Wales and Australia in the song sequences, says a source from the production team.

As per the trailer of Anna, it has got rich production values. Besides music and cinematography, RK Naguraj's art direction is going to one of the main attractions in the film.
Anna Release In AP
Anna has already completed formalities of the Censor Board and received 'U' Certificate. Now, it is all set to hit screens on August 9. Although the makers have not made an announcement about number of theatres, insiders from Tollywood claim that the movie is likely to be screened in 200+ theatres in Andhra Pradesh.
