Director Gunasekhar's stereoscopic 3D Telugu film Rudhramadevi, which is currently being shot, is one of the most talked about movies of 2013. Actor Mahesh Babu, who is currently busy shooting for Sukumar's upcoming project 1: Nenokkadine, is reportedly playing a cameo in the movie Rudhramadevi. It is reported that he recently took part in the filming for his special appearance. During the shooting, he accidentally hurt Anushka, when he threw a sword on the actress.

It was a sword fight scene for Rudhramadevi, which required Mahesh Babu to throw a sword on Anushka, who was supposed to dodge it. But the actress failed to do so and it resulted in Anushka getting injured. Fortunately, the sword was made of cardboard. So the actress escaped a major accident. She was said to have suffered minor injuries, which were taken care by the doctors.

Anushka Shetty is playing the title role - queen Rudramadevi, who was one of the popular women leaders of the Kakatiya dynasty. Interestingly, the actress, who is getting into action in this film, is doing on her own without any doubles. Her fight scenes will be the main highlights in the movie Rudhramadevi.

Mahesh Babu has earlier worked with Anushka Shetty in his 2010 action comedy Telugu film Khaleja, which featured them as Alluri Seetarama Raju and Subashini, respectively.

Later, Khaleja was dubbed in several other languages. The film was dubbed in Tamil as Bhadra, in Hindi as Jigar Kaleja, Bengali as Ekai Eksho and in Oriya as Abatar.
