Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Sukumar's highly debated combo 1: Nenokkadine has concluded the first week with a decent collection at the worldwide Box Office. Considering its pre-release hype, the movie was predicted to surpass Rs 50 crore mark in seven days and become the highest grosser Telugu film in the opening week, but the psychological action thriller has failed to meet the expectations.

Riding on huge amount of hype and expectations, 1: Nenokkadine released in 1,000+ theatres in Andhra Pradesh, 400+ screens in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala and 110+ cinema halls in America on January 10. The movie had huge amount of advance ticket booking for the first day and its screening started in wee hours in many places on Friday. The film was successful in impressing the audience in multiplexes, but viewers in single screens had mixed opinions about the film.
While its collection remained good throughout the week, a strong negative word of mouth took a toll on its business in single screens on the following days. 1: Nenokkadine has collected Rs 23.73 crores nett at the AP Box Office, Rs 3.90 crores nett in rest of India and Rs 7.25 crores overseas in seven days. The Mahesh Babu and Sukumar starrer has collected Rs 34.88 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in the first week.
Trade analysts in Tollywood had predicted that 1: Nenokkadine would beat the first week record of Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which has raked in Rs 34.67 crores nett at the AP Box Office in seven days. But the movie has failed with huge margin. It has landed in the seventh place in the list of highest grosser Telugu movies in the opening week.
