Mahesh Babu's 1: Nenokkadine, which hit the screens on January 10, has embarked on a glorious start in America and has done fabulous collection at the USA Box Office in the first weekend, beating the Yevadu, Dedh Ishqiya, Veeram and Jilla. But the Sukumar-directed psychological action thriller has failed to smash the three-day business record of Prince last release Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Attarintiki Daredi.

Having collected Rs 6.87 crores ($12,62,100) from 69 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu was the highest grosser for Mahesh Babu in the country. Later, Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which collected Rs 9.53 crores ($15,22,734) from 94 screens in three days, became the biggest opener and highest grosser Telugu movie at the USA Box Office in the first weekend.
The movie 1: Nenokkadine smashed the record of Attarintiki Daredi by releasing in huge amount screens in the country. Having released in 110+ screens in America, the Mahesh Babu starrer was expected to emerge as the highest grosser Telugu film in the first weekend. Besides a bad word of mouth, the movie got affected by most hyped movies like Dedh Ishqiya, Jilla, Veeram and Yevadu at the USA Box Office.
The action thriller 1: Nenokkadine has collected Rs 5.82 crores nett ($946,552) from 105 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend and the collection figures of some screens are yet to be reported. Meanwhile, Ram Charan's Yevadu, which opened on Saturday in the country, has collected Rs 1.46 crores nett ($237,170) from 70 screens at the USA Box Office in two days.
Whereas Tamil flicks Veeram and Jilla and Hindi film Dedh Ishqiya have raked in Rs 1.24 crores ($201,101 from 67 screens), Rs 1.19 crores nett ($192,858 from 69 screens) and Rs 96.82 lakhs ($157,541 from 50 screens), respectively at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. The film 1: Nenokkadine has topped the USA collection chart, while Yevadu, Veeram, Jilla and Dedh Ishqiya landed in the second, third, fourth and fifth places, respectively.
