Telugu Actor Uday Kiran Commits Suicide In Depression

Telugu actor Uday Kiran committed suicide at his residence on Sunday (January 5) in Hyderabad. The news has shocked the entire South film fraternity.

Uday Kiran took his life by hanging himself to a ceiling in his flat in Srinagar colony, Punjagutta last night. His wife Vishita was the first person to see him hanging. Along with the neighbours, she rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Vishita had been out for some work. When he didn't pick her calls, she grew suspicious and she returned home, where he saw him hanging. Uday and Vishita were married on October 24, 2012.

The actor was born on January 26, 1980 to VVK Murthy and Nirmal. He made in acting debut in Chitram in the year 2000. He struck gold in his debut film and the success continued as he gave hits like Nuvvu Neenu, Manasantha Nuvve and Sriram. These hits made him one of the most promising stars. Later, he got engaged to Megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha in 2003, but it was broken for some reasons.

However, he could not capitalise on his initial success as he delivered a series of flops and he was almost relegated his obscurity.
