Balakrishna's Legend (7 Days) First Week Collection At Box Office

Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest outing Legend has packed a solid punch at the worldwide Box Office in the first week. The movie has turned out to be the biggest money spinner of the year. Despite the examination and election fever in the state, the Boyapati Srinu-directed action drama has done a superb collection and become the biggest opener and highest grosser of the year 2014 in the opening week.

Released in 1,000+ screens across the globe on March 28, Legend opened to an earth-shattering response on Friday. Having garnered a strong positive word of mouth, the movie showed a decent growth in its business on Saturday and Sunday. The film fetched fantastic numbers at the worldwide Box Office in its first weekend. Its three days collection has been the highest number for Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu.

Unlike other Telugu movies, Legend rocked at the ticket counters on Monday. Thanks to Ugadi holiday. Its business dropped on the following days. The Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer has minted Rs 22 crores nett at the Andhra Pradesh Box Office in the first week. Another Rs 4 crores nett is coming from its screening in America, Karnataka and other parts of India. Its seven-day worldwide collection stands at Rs 26 crores.

With its superb collection, Legend has broken the collection records of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu's previous movies in the domestic market and other parts of the globe. It has become the biggest opener and highest grosser in the first week for both these stars. It has also become one of the best performers at the Box Office in the year 2014.
