Telugu film industry is set to release six movies this Friday and one among them is Bhupralayam, which is the dubbed version of highly-anticipated Hollywood movie Pompeii. Producer Gogineni Lakshmi Prasanna has bought its rights for Andhra Pradesh area and has planned to release it under the banner Sensational Movies in English, Telugu and Hindi with 3D and 2D versions across the state on February 21. Pompeii - An Adventure Film
Pompeii is an American disaster-adventure film, which is based on real story. Paul WS Anderson has directed the film, while Janet Scott Batchler, Lee Batchler and Michael Robert Johnson penned screenplay for it.
Set in the Roman city of Pompeii in the year AD 79, Milo (Kit Harington) is a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia (Emily Browning), the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to the corrupt Roman Senator Corvis (Kiefer Sutherland). As Mount Vesuvius erupts, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.
Produced by Jeremy Bolt, Paul WS Anderson, Robert Kulzer, Don Carmody, Pompeii is a mega budget movie that has been made with $100 million.

Clinton Shorter has composed music and background score for Pompeii, while Glen MacPherson handled cinematography for it. Michelle Conroy has edited the movie, which is distributed by TriStar Pictures and FilmDistrict.
The makers of Pompeii have spent six years researching the disaster of Pompe II to make it as historically accurate as possible. The movie was filmed in Toronto, Ontario from March to July 2013.
3D Cameras In Pompeii
Pompeii is the fourth time that Paul WS Anderson used 3D cameras in his films, the first being Resident Evil: Afterlife in 2010. Resident Evil producers Jeremy Bolt and Don Carmody reunite with Anderson for the film.
