Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan Ended Rift For Nagababu's Son?
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has gone busy with political activities, has decided to take some time out of his busy schedule to attend the formal launch of their nephew Varun Tej's yet-untitled Telugu debut film, which will be held in Hyderabad on Thursday (February). Interestingly, actor Pawan Kalyan, who was not seen with his brother Chiru in public, will be sharing the stage with the actor-turned-politician.
It was rumoured earlier that all was not well between Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, who had not been seen together in public after Chiru merged his Praja Rajyam party with Congress. Later, it was reported that the brothers were not in talking terms as the megastar was not happy with controversy over the Power Star's strained relationship with his second wife Renu Desai. On several occasions, it was rumoured that they would appear together, but they turned out to be mere speculations.
Srikanth Addala, who is directing debutant Varen Tej, has confirmed that Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan will come together at the opening ceremony of the film, which has left everyone in the industry with surprise. The director says, "Chiranjeevi sir and Pawan Kalyan have confirmed their participation. The event will be aired live on Maa TV. This is the first time a film's launch will be telecast live."
The muhurtham of Srikanth Addala's film will be telecast live on a private channel MAA. Varun Tej, who is the son of Chiranjeevi's and Pawan's brother Nagababu, was supposed to be launched last year. But the project got delayed for various reasons. The film will be produced by Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Bujji under the banner Leo Entertainments. The rest of the cast will be finalised soon.
